Enjoy Thai and Indian Drinks at White Lotus
The latest drink promotion at White Lotus enables guests to not just sample the unique flavours of Thailand, but indulge in the exotic taste of India’s signature drinks. Prices start at THB 160++
For the Thai selection, guests will be able to try some classic Thai beverages, including Roselle juice, Cha Yen and Nam Yen. With its super antioxidant benefits, Rosella juice is made from the Roselle calyx which is simmered with sugar. The advantages of drinking this juice ranges from reduced blood pressure to boosting the immune system and aiding in weight loss.
At the same time, Cha Yen is an iconic Thai drink uses brewed Thai tea leaves, topped up with sweetened condensed milk and evaporated milk. This orange concoction is a favourite of children and adults alike. Finally, Nom Yen with its bright pink hue is very similar to Cha Yen, but uses red sala syrup instead of Thai tea.
The White Lotus restaurant will also be featuring Indian drinks for those who want to sample the delights across the Bay of Bengal. The Mango and mint lassi is a highlight, infused with Indian sweet spices. This yogurt-based milkshake is not just an ideal summer refreshment, but also contains plenty of beneficial bacteria that aid in digestion.
White Lotus will also be offering another variant of this beverage, the Banana Lassi which is filled with the goodness of this popular fruit. Lastly, guests will get the opportunity to try Spiced Buttermilk, also known as Masala Chaas, is made with chill yogurt and fresh herbs such as mint or cilantro. The perfect drink for hot days, it’s great for refreshing and re-hydrating the body.
