About the Chef

Born and raised in Vietnam, Chef Dang Minh Duc has been with Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi for more than 24 years. In 2023, he was entrusted with leading Spice Garden, the hotel’s iconic Vietnamese restaurant. His career highlights include preparing exclusive state dinners, such as the historic Trump–Kim Summit in 2019, and curating menus for world leaders and celebrities.

Chef Duc’s culinary philosophy blends authenticity and elegance—each dish is a symphony of colours, textures, and flavours, showcasing Vietnam’s culinary heritage with a modern touch.
